From Addiction to Balance: Transformation Through Therapy
“Behind every habit there is a need; understanding it is freedom.”
Service Description
The Psychology of Mental Freedom: From Addiction to Balance The Psychology of Mental Freedom is a holistic approach that recognizes that addiction is not merely a turn to a single substance or behavior, but a multidimensional process comprised of emotional, cognitive, and relational cycles. This understanding emphasizes that addiction encompasses a much deeper system of psychological needs than the behavior that appears on the surface. The fundamental goal of this work is not simply to break the addiction. It is to help the individual regain their sense of control, regain their inner strength, and gradually build their psychological freedom. As a therapist certified by the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT), I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Metacognitive Therapy (MKT), and psychodynamic insight methods in my therapy process to address the belief patterns, emotional needs, and behavioral cycles underlying addiction. This approach aims to create lasting change and a sustainable balance in diverse areas, such as addiction to substances, alcohol, technology, eating behavior, shopping, or relationships. Addiction is not a weakness; It's a strategy a person develops to cope with challenging emotions. Therapy transforms this coping style into a healthier model, helping the individual regain control over their life and rebuild their inner freedom on a solid foundation. 🌿 Remember! Freedom begins with thought and emotion before action.
